My Town Tours - Wetlands Wildlife and Wine

Travelling in air-conditioned comfort up the Great Dividing Range through World Heritage rainforest, you will learn about the diversity of the highland area - the history, industry and people - from our experienced local tour guide.

Following a safari tour and morning tea at Jaques Coffee Plantation, you may feed the Rock Wallabies at Granite Gorge. After visiting the Mareeba Heritage Museum with its extensive regional history displays, you will be provided with lunch in the restaurant of a delightful Australian country hotel.

Discover a birdwatcher’s paradise at the Mareeba Tropical Savannah and Wetland Reserve. An electric boat trip on the lagoon gives you the opportunity to see Australia's tropical savannah and wetland flora and fauna in its natural surroundings.

The Golden Pride Winery is situated on a large mango plantation. You may sample their array of refreshing tropical wines and enjoy afternoon tea.

The tour departs Cairns at 8.15 am and returns at 5.15 pm. Pickup and dropoff at your Cairns accommodation. Not available Christmas Day, Anzac Day and Good Friday.
