AAA 3.5 Star Rating Time to relax Upon check in, your self contained cottage on the banks of the Millstream River, is just a short stroll to the Chilverton Sportsbar where you can enjoy your favourite sporting event on the big screen, have a game of pool, darts or ping pong while sipping on your favourite beverage.
An alternative is to endulge yourself with a locally grown long black, cappuccino or tea in the Chilverton reading room where you can grab a book to read, have a game of chess or cards or just sit back and enjoy the view.
Fine dining in tranquil surroundings Relax the evening away in the restaurant where you will be pampered and catered for with all of the personal touches of a traditional bed and breakfast but with the privacy you need for that romantic night that you have been waiting for.
Local wildlife Listen to the happy trill of the local birdlife as you awake in the morning. Enjoy your first cuppa on the balcony and watch the river meander by while being entertained by the local parrots that will pop in to see you.
Before wandering up to the restaurant for a hearty breakfast to get you through the day grab a cuppa and enjoy it with the platypus, one of the rare tree kangaroos may be about if you are early enough and very lucky or just relax on the river bank and watch the fish swimming by.
Enjoy breakfast in your private haven A breakfast pack is also available if you prefer to cook at your own leisure. After breakfast, take advantage of this magical property and stroll through the gardens.
Something a bit more energetic Hop into the canoe for a short paddle up the river. If you wish to get the heart pumping, there is also a small gym available for you to use.
Touring in the local area Ask your hosts, Gwen and Bruce, about where to go and things of interest in the local area. Or book in for a private tour and get them to do all of the hard work. There is so much to see and do on the Tablelands you will be eager to return to see more. |
