The sun’s final rays cast a soft light over the patchwork of paddocks and the peaks of the mountains in the Scenic Rim formed a frame for their uniform patterns. An afternoon storm hadn’t quite cleared the smoke from bushfires in the area, but it was still a marvellous sight.
